Jackery Portable Power Station – No Noise, Fumes, or Gas!

Today, I’m going to share one of the most powerful portable power stations, and this solar power system has enough power to keep your devices, your small to medium appliances charged for days. Hi, weekend warriors. I’m Randi, and every Thursday I share tips and everything related to small campers to help you make every moment count because weekends are just too short. Well, I just bought the Jackery Explorer 1000 portable power station and look at all of these rechargeable ports. I can charge up to eight devices at one time, and with this 1002 watt-hour lithium battery capacity, this portable power station has enough power to keep us weekend warriors powered up.

For example, it can charge a smart phone 100 times, ATV for 14 hours, a car refrigerator for 66 hours, charge a drone 17 times, and charge a CPAP machine. See what I mean about this portable power station having a lot of power? Coming up, I’m going to plug a lot of things in, but first, let’s look at the different ports that are available. It’s got input power ports, DC power ports, and AC power ports. This first input port is used to charge the portable power station using the cable that came in this bag.

Here we go. We’ve got the power charging cord, and it also came with a DC power charging cord. It’s got an Anderson port here, so you can also keep it charged using solar panels. Next, let’s look at the DC charger ports. There is a DC 12-volt car port. There are four USB power ports, and that’s phenomenal. But here’s what’s even better. Two of them are USB-C ports, and this was a feature I was specifically looking for in a portable power station. USB-C ports charge devices significantly faster. My iPhone 11 came with a USB-C charger, and more and more devices are going to be using this type of charge. So, it’s just smart to buy a portable power station that has this type of USB port.

And next, we’ve got three AC power ports. If I want to charge something using the DC power ports, I just simply hit the DC button, and now I’m ready to begin charging. And to begin charging using an AC port, I just hit the AC button. We’ll talk about this display and how easy it is to understand when I’m charging some devices. First off, I’m going to connect my Verizon Jetpack. Next, let’s charge my GoPro batteries. Next, let’s charge my iPad using the USB-C port. Next step, I’m going to hook up a small portable battery to the USB charger. All right, next let’s plug in my hair straightener, and let’s turn it on. Now, let’s charge my computer. We’ve got a lot of things charging, but let’s plug in a toaster. And let’s toast some bread. I’m starting to run out of room for everything.

That’s a lot of things we’ve got charging, and we just ran the toaster. Let’s look at the display. This first number here is the input number. This would tell us how fast we’re charging the Jackery portable station if it was plugged in. And the output number tells us how many watts we’re currently using, and this number here tells us how much power we have left in the power station. I plan on doing more boondocking, and I’m really excited to use this. I’m wondering, do you use a portable power station, or have you wished at times you had one? I love that this can power up to eight things at one time, and compared to a gas generator, a battery power generator will operate without noise, the fumes, pollution, gasoline, and the need for oil changes. I love this, and as the name suggests, it’s portable, weighing just 22 pounds.

I recently converted my Jackerey into a solar portable power station.

If you’re interested in learning more or thinking about purchasing the Jackery 1000, I’ll leave an Amazon link in the video description below. But it has been in high demand, and when I just checked on Amazon it was currently all sold out. So, I suggest that you check back often. Also, Jackery has a 240 and a 500 watt-hour portable power station, and you might be interested in that. So, I will leave links to those in the video description as well. This is definitely one of my favorite RV things.
