This was the worst camping trip because what happened was scary! I thought this was the perfect riverfront RV camping spot, but a nearby situation with unexpected loud sounds quickly overshadowed the peaceful scenery and this bad camping experience. The noise wasn’t just disruptive—it was downright terrifying! What started as a dream camping spot was my worst camping experience ever.
This bad camping trip was worse because it was Labor Day weekend, so no alternative camping options were left. 😩
While this bad camping experience in my travel trailer left me scrambling, HipCamp has been my saving grace on many other camping trips, especially when campgrounds are fully booked. It didn’t work out this time, but I’ll continue to use the platform for future adventures. 🏕️

This is an RV camping related YouTube channel community, a place for Weekend Warriors to get inspired, share ideas about small campers, travel trailers, campgrounds, outdoors, RV tips and tricks, accessories, hacks, gadgets, modifications, upgrade ideas to help us have memorable camping getaways.
I love the outdoors, hiking, campfires, meeting fellow campers, exploring new campgrounds and my small travel trailer the Little Guy Max makes this happen. I also camp all 4 seasons and yes… that includes winter camping! I live in Minnesota and mostly camp in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
