This line runs from your propane tank through your camper to your stove so when you turn your stove on it has access to propane to light it. It also runs to your water heater, your refrigerator, and your furnace for the same reason. Propane is what makes the appliances in our RV run.
But, here’s what could make this a dangerous situation. Propane is a toxin and fire hazard, and even a small leak can cause a fire or explosion. A leak can happen anywhere that the propane is running to.
RV propane lines can leak due to age and general wear and tear. But rodents might chew through them, or a tire blowout could cut a line.
