But, what makes me extra excited for the 2023 Wanna Camp Together meetup is the camping location! We are going to be camping at the Munising Tourist Park Campground in Munising, Michigan which is located in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
The U.P. has become my absolute favorite place to camp. And now hopefully I’ll get to spend time with you in this special area.
But here is the thing. Not only is this campground located in the Upper Peninsula but it is also directly on Lake Superior! Yes, Lake Superior waterfront camping!
But wait…. There’s more! This campground is also located right by the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore! And pictures just do not do this place justice. It absolutely has some of the most breathtaking scenery I have ever experienced.
But there is even more…. Not only are there some of the most beautiful hiking trails I have ever hiked on here but there are beaches, sand dunes, lighthouses, boat cruises, and guided kayaking tours. But there are also many amazing waterfalls to see here too!
And you know me… I love finding waterfalls!
The 2023 Wanna Camp Together meetup will be from Friday, June 2nd to Sunday, June 4th.
It may seem early that I am announcing next summer’s meetup but I know you are starting to plan for next year’s camping season so I want to give you as much notice as possible so that hopefully you can make it.
