And this episode is packed with Lake Michigan adventure and starts out with us crossing the Mackinac Bridge, on our way to Muskegson State Park. Once we get camp set up and our Little Guy Max we explore Lake Michigan. This lake is gorgeous and the shoreline was sandy with big waves.
The next day we find a Michigan lighthouse. The Muskegon South Pierhead Lighthouse is located on the channel in the harbor of Muskegon, Michigan. And later we discover the USS Silversides Submarine Museum with World War 2 submarines, gigantic torpedoes and more.
Muskegon Michigan has a lot of offer visitors and Muskego State Park campers. We found a gorgeous campsite at this campground with Lake Michigan just over the sand dunes.
