There are pros and cons to each type of campsite, so in this free vs expensive camping video, we show you a side-by-side comparison so you can compare the differences and learn the advantages and disadvantages to discover the best campsites for you.
RV resorts and premium camping campgrounds have a variety of amenities that some might argue make camping more enjoyable and easier. It’s more like glamping. But if you prefer being closer to nature this type of campsite might not be worth the cost and could be a disadvantage for you.
Many free camping spots such as at a campground, boondocking, or dispersed camping spots offer you a remote setting but finding a free campsite can be challenging because you can’t make a reservation ahead of time. You might not have a pool or a nearby restaurant but you will have fewer camping neighbors and quiet peaceful campfires.
