I can not wait to meet you and have a fun-filled weekend camping together. This is my first meetup so it will be special. This campground will book up so I strongly suggest you make your reservation as soon as possible.

Important Update!
The campground reservation website is hard to use and I found available campsites when the website showed none available so I strongly suggest you contact the campground via phone to inquire about availability and to make your reservation. This is the phone number: (715) 261-1550. Be sure to return to this page and complete the registration form linked above once you have made your reservation.

Campground: Big Eau Pleine County Park
Campground Details: This campground is located in Mosinee, WI with electric hookups and a dump station. It is on the Big Eau Pleine Reservoir, a 6348-acre lake. Let’s meet party!
Come on over to my campsite for appetizers (I will provide) and bring whatever you want to drink along with a chair. If it is raining we will meet at the Pavillion.
Saturday 1:00 pm
Hiking
There are many great trails at the campground. I will find an easy trail that we can all hike together.

Let’s play corn hole!

Potluck dinner: Please bring a dish to pass, the beverage(s) of your choice, and a chair.

Let’s gather for breakfast and say our goodbyes!
How to make your campsite reservation
Making a reservation was a little confusing. Following these steps will help guide you.
1.) Go here: https://secure.rec1.com/WI/marathon-county-parks-recreation-and-forestry/catalog
2.) Look for the Log In/Create Account button and follow the steps to create an account
3.) Click on “Campgrounds” and then click on “Big Eau Pleine Campground”
4.) Click on either the “Interactive BEP West Unit Map” or the “Interactive BEP South Unit Map” which will show you availability for either the West or the South units at the campground.
5.) Click on the date field and enter 6/3/2022. Then click on the Start field and enter 3:00 pm. Next click on the refresh (arrows in a circle) icon.
Available campsites for June 3rd will be shown in the West or South campground based on the one you selected in step 4. Check out both units and make your campsite selection by clicking on a green campsite icon. The rest of the process is pretty straightforward. If you have any questions or problems making a reservation you can call the campground at (715) 261-1550.
My campsite is #30 in the West unit but you can make your reservations at either one.
