A walk in the woods at Frontenac State Park in Minnesota with an unexpected nature experience! I love walking in the woods and this is one of my favorite thing to do while weekend RV camping. This adventure took me through an area that was recently flooded by the Mississippi River.

I have walked the Sand Point Trail before but it looked nothing like it did on this day. There were so many fallen trees and we also stumble upon a gigantic tree and I couldn’t believe how big the root system was.

This MN State Park hiking trail leads out to a point known as Sand Point on the Mississippi River. It is one of my favorite River spots we have camped at before while out boating.

I love walking in the woods! There is something magical about it. Do you enjoy a walk in the woods as much as I do? Let me know in the video comment section below. I love hearing from you and will respond to every comment.
